The creation of the patterns for Yuzen Washi papers began in the Edo period in (1603 to 1868) and the patterns were used originally for accessories in the house to enliven the interior.

This handmade treasure is handstrung & knotted (just like your grandmother's pearls) using silk and beautiful blood red coral beading. The clear glass pendant is set with gorgeous red chiyogami artwork.
